Pastor David A. Lyerly

Pastor David A. Lyerly was born to O’Dell and Jean M. Lyerly in New Rochelle, New York. Elder Lyerly married his sweetheart, Maxine McIntosh on May 4, 1991 and from this union two beautiful children were born, Dominique Nicole and Danielle Janay.
David attended the New Rochelle public schools and then went on to attend Long Island University and majored in Computer Science, Elder Lyerly received his theological training at Bethel Bible College (Queens, NY) and the Hugee Theological Seminary (Manhattan, NY)
Elder Lyerly was formerly employed by Chase Bank and the G.E. Capitol Corp. as a computer specialist, and also worked for the Greenwich Hospital as a MCSE/Network Manager. Elder Lyerly founded and is the president of Mind Shapers Inc. a 501c3 a Nonprofit Youth Community Development Corporation.
Elder Lyerly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1986 and entered the ministry in 1990. He was ordained on July 13, 1997 at the Bible Way Church headquartered in Washington DC. He served under the leadership of his Father Apostle O’Dell Lyerly. His areas of service include Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, Church Musician, Local and National Youth President (Bible Way Churches Worldwide). David was elevated to Assistant Pastor August 2008 and was installed as the Senior Pastor of the Bible Way Church New Rochelle, NY on February 20, 2010.
